- Return policy: We offer a 5 day inspection period from the day your watch is delivered. If you’re not satisfied for any reason, you can return the watch in the same condition it was received for a refund (minus any shipping/handling where applicable).
- Condition requirements: The watch must be returned in the exact condition it was shipped and with all of the accessories that were associated with it. If the watch returns in a different condition than shipped, or missing accessories, the refund amount will be adjusted accordingly.
- Warranty: Most watches we sell include a 12 month East Coast Timepieces limited warranty that covers mechanical defects not related to misuse, impact, or water damage. Factory warranties, when still valid, will also pass to you where applicable.
At East Coast Timepieces, authenticity is non-negotiable. We stand behind every watch we sell. If a watch we’ve sold is ever proven to be non-authentic, we will make it right in accordance with our authenticity guarantee. Every watch goes through a multi-step verification process that includes:
-
Full inspection by a professional watchmaker – movement, case, bracelet, dial, and hands are all checked under magnification.
-
Serial and reference number verification – we confirm they match the correct model and configuration.
-
Cross-check against market databases – to help ensure the watch has not been reported lost or stolen.
-
Paperwork review – when available, we verify warranty cards, receipts, and service records

Our offers are based on real market data—not guesses. When we value your watch, we look at:
-
Current market prices – What similar watches are selling for right now across the secondary market.
-
Brand, model & reference – Certain references, dials, and configurations trade at a premium.
-
Condition – Case and bracelet wear, polishing history, crystal condition, and how well the watch is running.
-
Box, papers & accessories – Original box, warranty card, booklets, extra links, and straps all add value.
-
Service history – Recent, documented service with a reputable watchmaker can increase value.
We aim to make fair, competitive offers with zero pressure. If our number doesn’t work for you, you’re under no obligation to sell.
